animating spaces, bringing collections to life through art and words

Sources has a track record of attracting new audiences and younger people to museums, art galleries, libraries and arts venues.
By using new tools such as animation and digital arts, and fresh approaches to writing and reader development, we can inspire people to creatively engage with the spaces and objects that they encounter.
The company is a creative team that specialises in exhibitions, commissions, and projects with people. We use animation, creative writing, new media, film, art and reader development to create projects.
The company’s main creative team consists of poet Anne Caldwell and artist Jack Lockhart.
Anne has been published widely and her work was featured in The Poetry Shop exhibition in Hebden Bridge, and as part of a poster/post card campaign for libraries in the North West. Her work has recently featured in Quattrocento Magazine and Rain Dog Magazine and she has performed for literature festivals and events in Manchester and Sheffield.
Jack is a visual artist, film maker and performer. He has recently toured internationally with The Whalley Range All-stars theatre company, created a theatre set for a large scale outdoor show, made films for a range of organisations and live art events. He has a strong track record of facilitating workshops in a broad range of media from large scale prop and carnival structures to digital arts.
